The Athenian School offers a full boarding program for students in grades 9-12. The boarding program is a unique community comprised of international and domestic students. Dorm Parents oversee residential life in each of the dorms, which house approximately 20 students each. The program is supported by residential advisors, the Director of Residential Life and many faculty who live on campus with their families.

Today more than 40 students from a dozen countries compose Athenian’s boarding program. Students have unmatched access to campus facilities and faculty during nightly study hours. The residential community organizes special residential dinners and trips to Bay Area destinations.

Boarding students easily take part in activities after regular school hours: drama productions, student organized poetry or musical benefits, the faculty/staff musical production, cultural events, guest speakers, robotics and airplane construction.
