Fine and Performing Arts
The Athenian School recognizes the importance and value of the study of fine and performing arts as part of a well-rounded education. As such, we offer a wide variety of arts programs, including drama, music, dance, painting, sculpture, and related studies.
The San Francisco Bay Area is host to a number of world-class artistic organizations and Athenian is well located to take advantage of them, including such organizations as the San Francisco Symphony, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, just to name a few.
Additionally, the serenity of Athenian's unique location in the foothills of Mount Diablo offers an opportunity to explore artistic pursuits in a natural, peaceful setting, and in a community that has much appreciation and strong support for the arts.
