Devil Mountain Summer Camp is a unique combination of academic, athletic, and artistic opportunities for students throughout the East Bay. Our goal is to offer children from elementary school through high school with fun, exciting, and meaningful learning experiences.
We do this through a wide variety of programs designed to improve skills, enhance learning, and build confidence. Keeping campers interested in learning during the summer is accomplished through the expertise and enthusiasm of our extraordinary staff. We have developed classes and activities that we know are enriching and rewarding. We are confident families will find our unique campus and summer programs to be a valuable part of the continuing education of their child and remembered long after summer ends. |

| Welcome from the Director I'm excited to join the Devil Mountain Summer Camp (DMSC) family as the new Director of Summer Programs and Community Outreach. As a quick introduction, this is my 10th year at Athenian and I continue to be a member of our middle School Faculty as the 8th grade English teacher. Prior to Athenian, I taught Middle School and ran summer programs in Palo Alto, Sacramento, and Long Island. I have my Masters in Education Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University and was certified in New York State with a K-6 credential. I’ve worked with students in the summer and/or school year for 19 years and am honored to devote my experience to DMSC.
We are continuing our well-established programs and are bringing in new ideas and vision to create a dynamic summer experience for all, whether your child spends two weeks or all eight with us. Please be sure to check out the new structure for Sports Camp, the creative new Science & Engineering Explorations classes, the improved lunch program, and the wonderful opportunity for Middle School girls in Project Athena. There’s also the exciting new photo travel opportunity to Tanzania for high-school students! We designed DMSC to allow you to create an unforgettable summer for your child.
