The Athenian School Family of Funds

Athenian's Family of Funds represent the most fundamental areas of Athenian’s programs and allows you to direct your gift to areas of interest. Each year, the School relies on Annual Giving contributions to provide exceptional resources for students and faculty. These funds represent the most important areas to which Athenian has made commitments:

Greatest Need (Unrestricted)

Gifts to Athenian's Greatest Need provides necessary funds to where Athenian needs it most. Gifts to this fund benefit every child, every day and gifts of any size make a difference.

Financial Aid

Gifts to this fund provide financial assistance to students whose families demonstrate need and would otherwise not be able to attend Athenian. We recognize that talented and deserving students who would thrive at Athenian may not have the resources to attend. The financial aid we offer gives students the opportunity to experience our unique education. Gifts to Financial Aid ensures an academically qualified and diverse population of students.

Our fine arts department instills confidence and conviction and rewards students who are willing to take risks, make mistakes, and try again. Athenian celebrates creative expression and promotes an objective appreciation for the processes of making art.

Our strong athletics program offers students opportunities for teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Gifts to the Athletics Fund maintain our commitment to student athletics by supporting team uniforms, travel, and referee expenses, sports equipment, salaries for coaches and more.

Innovative Programs

Annual support provides funding for Athenian faculty to facilitate student learning through innovative, challenging, and inspiring instructional practices using state of the art technology.

Faculty Enrichment

Our faculty are at the heart of the Athenian education and ultimately determines the quality of an Athenian education. Contributions to the Faculty Enrichment fund provide faculty with competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities, enabling the School to recruit and retain teachers of the highest talent.
