What is your favorite Athenian tradition?
It’s gotta be Athenian Wilderness Experience (AWE). On that trip I saw the ugliest and the most beautiful in people, both physically and emotionally. I found some of my closest friends on AWE. Going through that experience changed my perspective on the people around me, knowing that people come from different backgrounds and not judging is important. I’m actually going back soon to go camping.

What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place is the art room in the Center for the Arts (CFTA). That place allows me to be by myself for a long period of time, like 4-5 hours a day. Being up there is like meditating or being a priest, I feel like I’m really able to dive deeper into my experiences and my emotions to create pieces of art that reflect who I am. I hope they can also be influential to the people that see them. It encouraged me to pursue my passions as an illustrator for college, and hopefully from the skills I get there I can work.
