Athenian’s Community Education Series is inspired by the School’s mission of intellectual exploration and meaningful contribution and hosts a dynamic line-up of thought-provoking presentations and conversations with experts near and far.

Angst is a 56-minute film that explores anxiety- its causes, effects, and what we can do about it. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health challenge in the U.S., impacting 54 percent of females and 46 percent of males. Angst features candid interviews with kids and young adults who suffer, or have suffered, from anxiety and what they've learned about it. The film includes discussions with mental health experts about the causes of anxiety and its sociological effects, as well as help, resources, and tools.
