    College Financial Aid Info Night (Virtual)

    Please join us virtually at 6pm on Tuesday, October 3rd to learn more about the college financial aid process and scholarship resources. This program will be led by Chad Spencer, Vice President of Enrollment Management at Centre College and former Director of Financial Aid at Davidson College. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share about the financial aid landscape, including changes with this year's FAFSA. This event is presented in collaboration with Bay Area Independent Schools and will be hosted via Zoom

    CS: Food Bank-Concord Clinica

    Open to 10th Grade Students

    California has one of the largest economies in the world and yet, in spite of our amazing agricultural abundance, 1 in 11 people–and 1 in 8 children–are facing hunger. The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano provides 3,500,000 meals each month.  Students will be helping distribute produce to people at Clinica de la Raza in Concord.

    CS: OCA Asian Pacific American Advocates Chinatown Cleanup

    Open to 10th Grade Students

    OCA Asian Pacific American Advocates is a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs). Their Oakland chapter organizes a cleanup of Oakland’s Chinatown Cleanup on the second Sunday of each month. Because of increased attacks on Asian Americans, our participation in the cleanup also helps increase community safety.

    CS: Food Bank - Concord warehouse

    Open to 9th Grade Students

    California has one of the largest economies in the world and yet, in spite of our amazing agricultural abundance, 1 in 11 people–and 1 in 8 children–are facing hunger. The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano provides 3,500,000 meals each month.  Our students work on two different programs with the food bank. Students will be working at the food bank’s Concord warehouse to sort donating food or bag produce.
