Now Accepting Applications for Athenian Summer Programs!

Positions are available for responsible and enthusiastic young leaders who want to work with children in a positive, adventurous, loving, and creative atmosphere. Working at Athenian Summer Programs provide a dynamic opportunity for caring, dedicated people to be part of the summer program staff as teachers, camp counselors, residential dorm staff, lifeguards, and swim instructors. We want people who are passionate about making each camper’s day the best day possible.

Counselors, Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, & SELP Dorm Staff:

We are looking for community and culture builders who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with kids.

Enrichment Class Teachers:

We are looking for creative individuals who love kids and demonstrate cultural competency in classroom management, innovative teaching, and appropriate design to reach varying learning profiles. Teachers must be available for the full length of a course in a two-week session.

Leadership

These positions will be posted as individual roles when they arise. We are looking for people who are dedicated to our campers’, learners’, and boarders’ joy, and the working environment of our summer staff. Strong interpersonal skills and steward of respectful leadership in a multicultural school environment is required. Summer Programs leadership are fun, organized, professional good communicators.

Our Hiring Process

We will review all completed applications (application form, resume, letter of interest) received by March 15. If you are believed to be a good match for our program, the Director of Summer Programs will follow up with you to schedule an interview for late March or early April. Final decisions will be made by April 15.
