Join the Athenian Parent Association to learn from Athenian's inaugural Dean of Experiential Education, Whitney Hofacker. She will share the Community Engagement Themes, the vision for the future of community engagement, and will also provide insights into her new role and share more about the Garden Lab initiative, an experiential, multi-year manifestation of the Environmental Stewardship Pillar.

Co-Founder of Stop AAPI Hate and SF State Professor of Asian-American Studies Russell Jeung, PhD and Krysty Shen, Youth Campaign Manager of Stop AAPI Hate, will present to Athenian in our first Community Education Series about alarming reports of crimes committed against Asian Americans in 2020 and 2021, and address how we can all – students, parents, community members -- come together to bring justice to perpetrators and support AAPI communities.
