CS: Food Bank-Concord Clinica
Open to 10th Grade Students
California has one of the largest economies in the world and yet, in spite of our amazing agricultural abundance, 1 in 11 people–and 1 in 8 children–are facing hunger. The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano provides 3,500,000 meals each month. Students will be helping distribute produce to people at Clinica de la Raza in Concord.Contact: Beth Spencer

CS: OCA Asian Pacific American Advocates Chinatown Cleanup
Open to 10th Grade Students
OCA Asian Pacific American Advocates is a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs). Their Oakland chapter organizes a cleanup of Oakland’s Chinatown Cleanup on the second Sunday of each month.
