Filmmaking: Science Fiction/Superheroes

Do you love film, TV and YouTube? Do you want to learn how to write, direct and act in your own videos and movies? Filmmaking will teach you all of the skills to be your own movie studio or YouTube star. In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of shooting videos and expressing your ideas into image. You will practice key techniques of captivating storytelling. You will learn how to keep your audience watching by using suspense techniques in filmmaking. You will learn how to move your audience by connecting them to your characters' stories in your films. You will also learn how to create compelling performances for your videos or films. Finally, you will learn how to put it all together and write, direct, act and shoot your own movies that will capture an audience anywhere. This filmmaking class’ theme is Science Fiction/Superheroes - which means you will have a choice in writing, directing, and filming a film, or a series of short films focused on either genre - or a mixture of both.
