Architecture of Play Camp

Let’s invent, build and play! The Architecture of Play summer camp will focus on the process of designing and making an architectural miniature golf course. Kids will work collaboratively to design and build a useable miniature golf course inspired by famous architecture buildings. This will be an explorative, problem solving, and skill developing hands-on experience. Camp participants will learn about the process of creating designs from start to finish. We will experiment with methods of constructing both through digital fabrication and utilizing power tools. We will finish these miniature building structures by painting them and testing them through play. Each session will give kids the opportunity to add on new architectural elements to our golf course and build upon already designed and built structures. We will end the summer through a celebratory tournament where friends and family can join us in play!
