What is your favorite class?
My favorite class is U.S. History. The subject has always been one that I'm passionate about. Government and political science might be something I want to pursue in the future, but also just learning how much our history ties into what is happening now is fascinating. Using my own studies to try to create change now is something that is really cool.
The best thing is the opportunities that it provides in terms of experiential learning. I’ve never seen anything like it. One of the best experiences I’ve had is March Term, where I had time to explore stuff that I normally wouldn't in the classroom. I did a community service focused March Term and we learned the philosophy behind community service and did hands-on work too. There’s other cool things like traveling and exchange opportunities!
