What has been your favorite class at Athenian and why?
I think there are so many wonderful options to pick from - the selection of seminar classes is just really terrific. I love the International Relations seminar with Lea Hartog, I am enjoying taking it right now. I’ve taken classes with Lea before like the Justice for All seminar, and they are incredibly informative. International Relations has given me this solid foundation in the realm of political science which I am looking to study in the future. It’s been super preparatory in that sense. Right now, we’re preparing for a Model UN Committee. Everyone in the class got assigned to a world leader, and we’re all focusing on the Iran Nuclear deal and what our assigned world leader’s perspective on that is. We’re not just reading a textbook and answering test questions.

What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the unofficial senior space. There are couches and places to relax. It’s so terrific to be able to have a space to connect with people you haven’t talked to in awhile. It’s great for community building and hanging out, we feel really at home there.
