What is your favorite Athenian tradition?
International Night is my favorite tradition at Athenian. Usually it’s hosted once a year, although it’s been a while because of COVID. It celebrates all the cultures and people that are here at Athenian. It also connects the boarders and day students together. All the members of my family have actually performed at International Night - anyone can bring food to Main Hall from each of their backgrounds/cultures (parents, students, teachers, etc.) and then after dinner you go up to the CFTA and people who perform dancing or singing that represents their culture.
What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place is the unofficial senior space. It’s a great place for seniors to connect with each other. With COVID it was hard for us to connect with each other, but now since we’re all together in person we can really communicate and collaborate with each other. Its a good place to destress during college app season, study, and do stuff like that.
