Description: This course focuses on most of the important areas in basic algebra. Campers will be introduced to inequalities, systems of equations, polynomials, quadratic formula, rational expressions, and radical equations. The class moves at a rapid pace, campers should plan to attend every session. Note: Due to the variant skillsets campers come to camp with, we are unable to personalize the math program for each individual child.

Instructor Jamie grew up in Danville, earned her undergraduate degree in math from UCLA, then returned to the Bay Area to earn her masters in Statistics from UC Berkeley. She has been teaching math at Athenian since 2008 and loves the different energy on campus during summer programs.
