Reading and Writing Workshop I and II

Grades 4-5
S2: Period A (I)
S3: Period B (II)
$205

Learn how to improve your writing skills while exploring various writing genres such as autobiographical, biographical, observational, problem solutions, and report of information. This course will reinforce the fundamentals of grammar, vocabulary, and spelling. Campers will concentrate on how to write in various styles as well as how to proofread and effectively utilize a dictionary.  In addition, the course will rely on the previous day’s experiences, therefore, campers should plan to attend every class meeting in a session to get the most out of their experience.  Just remember, the more time you spend writing and reading, the more time you are building your path to success!  Campers are welcome to take both Part I and II of this class but are also welcome to take either of the sessions alone.

Nikki Spatcher, local SRVUSD elementary school teacher, is a veteran in the classroom and is a long-time member of our summer staff.  She brings fun and her love of learning to the classroom each day.
