For me, experiential learning means learning through an activity rather than learning about it. In freshman year physics, there was this rocket project. We were able to try different sizes, water amounts, wind shapes, etc.

For me, experiential learning means learning through an activity rather than learning about it. In freshman year physics, there was this rocket project. We were able to try different sizes, water amounts, wind shapes, etc.
We were able to learn how different components of our rockets contributed to its success and its failure. Experiential learning means that the teacher provides an environment for the student to learn and grow on their own with some support. Through these immersive experiences, I think that students gain a deeper understanding of the concept and themselves.
