I grew up, like a lot of kids, loving science fiction. The worlds of stories such as Ender's Game and Star Wars have always been fascinating to me. At least more than the books we read for school traditionally.
That’s why, choosing classes this year, the option of studying sci-fi writing for a semester was immediately captivating. Science Fiction has lived up to all my expectations: we read entertaining stories, write about and discuss what they mean with a group of sociable students and an engaging teacher, and apply them to our real world. Opportunities like these have made my time at Athenian so fun and enriching.
