What is your favorite place on campus?
The Main Hall! It’s the epicenter of our campus. There’s always a lot going on and social buzz during most times. It’s where I like to start and end my day – I go in and meet all my friends there in the morning and then in the afternoon we hang out in there. You see everyone at school hanging around and talking there. I really like the solarium that’s on one side of the Main Hall, you see the beautiful view of Mt. Diablo while you eat lunch or hang out with your friends. I’ve grown to appreciate it more and more over the years that I’ve been here.
What is the best thing about Athenian?
The best thing and the thing that I value the most, is the connection that you can form with your teachers. I think that they see you as a whole person and they really care about your success in their class, in life, and in whatever you choose to do in the future. They want you to be a successful, contributing member of your community. They also prepare you really well for whatever comes next.
