Hometown: Danville, CA
Time at Athenian: 5 years
Favorite class: I have two favorite classes that I've taken at Athenian; Introductory Physics and The Political Novel. I think that both of these experiences really centered around the teachers that I had, as they pushed me to think even beyond the scope of material and genuinely engage with the nuances and questions I had about each topic. I appreciated physics for the hands-on approach and the way it gave me universal models and explanations for the things that I had always wondered about, and it made me fall in love with physics as a subject, which has helped me understand what I want to pursue in college and beyond.

In terms of The Political Novel, the class challenged me to approach media and literature from lenses I never had before, and it asked me to be introspective and examine my own views and beliefs.
