Favorite class: I have always been passionate about history, politics, and current events, so the class I've enjoyed the most at Athenian is the Politics of Elections seminar. Spending a semester doing a deep dive into the United States' political system, and the 2022 mid-term election, I learned not only about the effect of a single vote, but also the impact of misinformation and what we can do as citizens to be up-standers.  Athenian stands true to its education for democracy pillar. 

Activities: I have been a member of the Women's Varsity Tennis Team for the entirety of my high school experience. In addition, I've found communities in several clubs and the Ambassador program, and have held a leadership position in the overnight 9th grade orientation group, been an Athenian Wilderness Experience logistics crew member, and more.
